Remote Control Center Operator
Position Profile: The Remote Control Center (RCC) Operator is an integral member of the Field Operations Team, responsible for observing, understanding, and managing pressures on the company's main pipeline system.
Directly Reports To: Area Operations Manager
Indirectly Reports To: VP of Operations
Team: Field Operations
Supervision of Staff: None
Duties and Responsibilities:
Without restricting the generality of this job description, The Remote Control Center Operator for Meritage Midstream shall perform such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned including but not restricted to, the following:
Observe and understand the pressures on the main pipeline system throughout the field during the day to head off any issues with pressures on the mainlines going to the plants.
Knowledgeable of all aspects of Scada and compressor stations.
Download pressure and temperature readings on the compressor stations, engines and compressors.
Evaluate data to determine all the equipment is running efficiently.
Record and analyze readings from Scada and PBI to make sure dehydrator and coalescer filters are operating efficiently to keep track of the moisture going into the pipelines.
Record daily 02 and H2S readings at the stations.
Answer the on-call phone during the day and dispatch all calls to operators and mechanics throughout the day.
Determine and learn overtime based on pipeline pressures when and where pigs need to be run.
Manage mechanical, dehydrator, coalescer filter, pipeline pressure and pigging issues.
Required Education, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-5 years of relevant professional experience
Oil and Gas Industry highly desired, Midstream experience a plus
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and Outlook

Physical Requirements:
Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Fingering. Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
Feeling. Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.

Visual Acuity Requirements: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devises; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Working Conditions: The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
