Experian's direct-to-consumer (D2C) team is seeking a Product Manager to help drive and deliver on our authentication, identity management, fraud prevention, and risk mitigation product roadmap across all channels and stakeholders.  The consumer path to an inclusive, digital economy that benefits everyone, begins with and is protected by seamless and secure identity verification. Our team strives to give users a best-in-class identification confirmation experience for all consumer touchpoints. We partner with other Experian business units and best in class partners to bring these experiences to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate our vision into a thoughtfully prioritized, executable plan  to get your products from MVP to beyond
  • Work closely with developers, designers, stakeholders, QA, analytics, and other product teams to take ideas from concept to launch
  • Understand deeply the “why” behind everything we do and instill that understanding across all levels of the organization
  • Collaborate with User Experience on creation of experience and visual design requirements
  • Use an effective combination of research, data, and product intuition to make timely decisions
  • Work with Agile software development teams to write user stories, solve for edge cases, and test code before deployment
  • Analyze complex business and system requirements; construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; write specifications
  • Serve as a communication hub and facilitate collaboration across teams and departments related to your products

Qualifications

What your background looks like

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business/Marketing, or a technical field preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant product management experience in the mobile, internet or software business, ideally with financial services sectors or subscription-based businesses.
  • 3+ years of experience with new product planning and delivery, from concept to feasibility to development and launch
  • Must have experience with key product management functions, including writing requirements/user stories, market research, competitive analysis, product planning and reporting.
  • Must be metrics and results driven. Experience with A/B testing and web analytics tools is a plus.
  • Experience in defining and developing products to meet customer requirements from inception to launch.
  • Experience with current web-design trends and techniques (e.g., mobile first, responsive/adaptive design, mobile app).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills – ability to build consensus across various groups and organizational levels to drive results.
