Job Description

The Industrial Sales Representative (Metal Specialist) role is a combination of joint calls with Key Account Managers, Suppliers, or independent end user customer calls in order to promote TENAQUIP Limited’s product sales and services.


  • Assist in the development of annual sales forecasts within a defined geographic territory.
  • Schedule and conduct joint-calls with Vendors as to meet the obligations of TENAQUIP Limited’s
  • “Focus Vendor “annual sales growth programs.
  • Complete independent end user customer calls focused on the sales growth of TENAQUIP’s MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) products. Included but not limited to; Hand Tools, Power Tools, Abrasives, Adhesives, Tapes, Maintenance cutting tools & Welding products.
  • Work with the TENAQUIP Key Account Managers (Outside Sales Reps) as a resource to promote all Metal Specialists Division products and services.
  • Support all sales activities deemed important to drive the sales growth figures within the Metal Div. Specialist sales program.
  • Provide necessary reporting in a timely and regular manner consistent to the company’s expectations.


  • Minimum 3-5 years outside sales experience within the industrial MRO Market.
  • Knowledge of (but not limited to) Hand Tools, Power Tools, Abrasives, Adhesives, Tapes, Maintenance cutting tools & Welding products.
  • Professional selling skills training such as CPSA or equivalent is an asset or must be willing to invest time in completing.
  • Excellent communication skills- written, verbal and presentation.
  • If applying for a Quebec position, bilingual in French/English a must.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and asset.
