Informa Pharma Custom Intelligence, part of the international Informa group, is looking for an exceptional candidate to grow and develop the pharma consultancy practice serving some of the largest pharma and healthcare companies globally.

As a Solution Engineer, you are an integral part of the team and expected to contribute to client projects by working in tandem with other Consultants. Given the competitiveness of the consulting industry, client satisfaction is key to long term success. As such, commercial awareness, communication skills, flexibility, and cultural sensitivity are key factors for a consulting team member’s success.

As an Analytics Solutions Engineer, your key responsibilities will be:

Business Development: Support the sale of a broad range of analytics consulting projects to both new and existing clients. Understand the clients’ needs, translate them into business and technical requirements and work with the Consulting team to deliver a compelling proposal that clearly articulates the value and benefit of our analytics solutions.

Project Management & Execution: Translate requirements into corresponding project plans with little-to-no guidance to enable the production of high-quality deliverables that meet client’s requested timeframes. Manage the delivery of a constantly evolving portfolio of projects with competing deadlines and priorities while proactively identifying/mitigating delivery risks.

• Proven experience in bringing data to life in the pharma/biotech industry
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality analytics projects to pharma/biotech clients
• Ability to work across a range of projects at the same time with varying degrees of complexity
• Ability to see the “big picture” and understand how the client will use information to meet their objectives
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dive into detail, identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies and actionable recommendations
• Ability to think laterally about researching, sourcing and integration data from within and outside of internal company resources

Preferred background:

• 7+ years experience in the Life Sciences and/or Healthcare
• Domain expertise in at least one of Informa’s core areas – clinical development/operations, real world data, regulatory intelligence and/or commercial/financial analytics
• Significant experience with APIs, web services, and general integration challenges and solutions
• Experience working in Agile environment
• Familiarity with Database (SQL & NoSQL), Data Modelling, Reporting, ETL and BI
• Previous consulting experience with pharma/healthcare companies
• Advanced degree in a related discipline; an MBA or MSc/PhD is an advantage but not essential
