Job Description

What is a Team Lead?

A team leader is responsible for helping their fellow team members with day to day activities such as email, phone, and other forms of outreach. Helping them frame their conversations with potential prospects and answering basic day to day questions. Keeping the team excited and acting as the go to person to ask for help that the team requires. A Team Leader will also have a subset of accounts they will prospect into in order to lead the team by example.

Responsibilities.

  • Create and maintain a fun and exciting team atmosphere
  • Identify areas of need for the team to local manager
  • Interview new BDRs for the team
  • Help team develop consistent messaging
  • Answer some day to day questions of what to do when
  • Prospect into key target accounts to lead team by example
  • Assist in onboarding of new people into the team

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work well with others as part of a team - Required
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) - Required
  • Passionate and driven to excel – Required
  • University degree in a business subject or relevant experience - Required
  • Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com experience -  Required
  • Experience leading a team of Business Development Reps/ Sales Development Reps/ Inside Sales Reps / Lead Generation – Strongly Preferred
