Job Description

The Sustainment Battle Lab (SBL) is tasked to support the Army Modernization Enterprise and the sustainment community by researching and evaluating existing and emerging sustainment processes, future concepts, force designs and organizational relationships. It plans, coordinates and executes Army experiments, wargames, seminars and prototyping experiments as well as studies and analyses. The SBL participates in Joint, Army and multinational Service experiments in fulfilling its responsibilities.

The Contractor shall provide management, analytical, and technical support to the SBL, AFC, the SCDID and Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) for Army Campaign of Learning (CoL) initiatives. Contractor shall support the Government by designing and supporting all forms of experimentation, and other analytical events, enabling the study of current, and future warfare concepts and determining and identifying capability gaps in both the current and future forces. The Contractor shall perform specific tasks in the following areas: Core Army Concept Development Experimentation Plan Support, Experiment Planning, Scenario Development Support, Modeling and Simulation Support, Studies and Analysis, Science and Technology, Prototyping, and System and Network Administration/Facility Support.

Qualifications

The Contractor shall possess a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least twenty (20) years of experience serving in a U.S. military agency as military or civilian in progressively responsible command and staff positions.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with service or joint doctrine, to include combat, combat support, and combat service support operations.

  • Minimum of six (6) years’ extensive experience with service or joint staffs organization, functions and procedures.

  • Minimum of six (6) years’ extensive experience with service or joint organizations, operations, and exercises at levels comparable to Army Corps.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the preparation and conduct of seminars, study groups and map exercises for general and senior field grade officers.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in conducting instruction in both small and large group formats.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in conducting post exercise effectiveness analysis and evaluations.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the compilation and presentation, in both written and oral formats, of lessons learned and after action review material.

  • Must possess a SECRET security clearance to begin work on the contract
