Grade K-3 Science Writers & Developmental Editors

Are you a science teacher or subject matter expert looking for a creative outlet to earn some extra money? A Pass Educational Group is seeking writers for science lesson content and assessment items for grades K-3. You will be creating content aligned to client-provided learning objectives within their learning management system. You'll also create formative and summative assessment items to accompany your content. This is a 100% remote, work-from-anywhere contract position.

Details:

• Contract, this is an independent contractor position
• $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on role and project
• 10-12 hours per week
• 100% remote, work from anywhere position
• An A Pass writing sample is required to move forward in the application process

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in elementary education, science, science education, or similarly relevant subject area
• Classroom experience at grade level(s) is recommended; 3+ years of classroom experience preferred
• Previous experience writing NGSS benchmark-aligned content and assessment items preferred; 1+ years experience with item writing development preferred
• Classroom teaching and Google Drive navigation are distinctly advantageous!

100% Remote Contract Position (Independent Contractor)
