Global Events Manager

The global events manager will report to Zscaler’s Director of Global Events and
be responsible for executing on the direction of the Zscaler brand experience at
virtual and eventually in-person/hybrid industry tradeshows and company-driven
events.
As a member of the demand generation team, this person will help develop,
manage, execute and measure a portfolio of internal and external event
initiatives, and will be responsible for the following:

• Help develop, flawlessly execute and measure a portfolio of internal and external event initiatives, aligned and integrated into Zscaler’s campaigns and overarching marketing strategy
• Manage the logistical execution and cross-functional project management of our Zenith Live virtual and live/hybrid conferences that bring together thousands of our customers and partners from around the globe
• Drive the execution and cross-functional project management of the
• Zscaler brand experience and pipeline generation at major industry tradeshows and large-scale company-driven events
• Work closely with the broader marketing team to curate content and maintain consistency across all event branding, messaging and programs
• Partner with the demand generation and digital marketing team to drive high registration and deliver a compelling pre-, onsite and post event experience that maximizes customer and prospect engagement and drives pipeline
• Maintain a budget for large scale events and closely track spend against targets
• Research and understand personas for each event type to maximize impact
• Set success criteria, measure and report out the impact of each major event on awareness, engagement and pipeline acceleration metrics
• Validate event investment versus the ROI driven from each major event
• Develop strong cross-functional relationships to ensure involvement and input on event strategy from product, customer success, and sales

• Experience in managing complex virtual and live events in B2B software, SaaS or IT security industries
• Experience in planning and managing virtual, live and hybrid event logistics across multiple teams
• Experience project managing complex events/projects and motivating global teams, remote workers, contractors and vendors
• Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven marketing
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across teams, customers, sales, partners, vendors
• Understanding and ability to align events to pipeline generation and acceleration
• Outstanding written communication and organization skills
• Excellent project management skills with an eye and attention for details
• Self-motivated and sense of urgency, must have the ability to manage multiple projects/events at one time
• Must be able to assess and prioritize workload in a strict deadline-driven environment
• Event management software experience a plus
• Some interaction with international teams and occasional travel
