As the Associate Media Director, you will serve as a thought leader and general manager on the Media team, as well as the primary account lead for our premier client accounts. You will partner with the Head of Paid Media and CEO to drive strategic eCommerce initiatives within the team, helping to develop innovative strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives, and lead tactical execution and optimization of campaigns. You will be responsible for optimizing, implementing, and analyzing paid eCommerce marketing activities.
What You’ll Do
Lead the agency in consistently hitting client KPI goals, mainly e-commerce centric
Derive new and pivot strategies to grow and maintain ROAS for our clientele
Heavily utilize Google Analytics to monitor and report on performance data
Ability to forecast and understand P&L models as well as building and managing multi-touch attribution models
Direct and guide client deliverables, fostering collaboration, translating client requests into meaningful agency requests/action and ensuring the work is high quality
Prepare reports showcasing ad performance and share insights on current and future tests
Stay ahead of the curve on new strategies, performance advertising channels, conversion rate optimization techniques, industry trends; provide constant intelligence to the team.
Supervising, training and developing skills of supervisors by managing workload, delegating responsibilities and checking work for accuracy
Responsible for managing projects and resources for areas of specialization (both clients facing projects and internal)
Possess senior-level communication skills including synthesizing insights, calibrating to the correct audience, leading a room, steering a difficult conversation, and picking up on and adapting to sentiment
Exceptional communicator and high EQ leadership in managing a growing team
Experience maximizing in-house talent with discipline and a strong focus on KPIs
“In the weeds” level experience with digital marketing
Passionate about performance marketing and building brands
Deep familiarity with metrics like CAC, CPM, CTR, CPA, CVR, LTV, and ROAS and can create long-term strategies to meet target KPIs/metrics
Strong experience with social ad campaigns (Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube) as well as its effects in both bottom-line revenue and increasing awareness and household penetration
Robust understanding of the Google Ads ad platform; ideally with experience managing campaigns in support of direct response objectives
Ability to build, manage and hit complex forecasted acquisition goals as well as driving the team to succeed in these KPIs as well
Full funnel knowledge on how to convert the customer, from thumb-stopping ads to a high converting landing pages to psychologically compelling copy
Ninja-like knowledge of Google Analytics. This means you don’t need a separate Analytics or BI guru to build reports for you.
Highly technical with the ability to backward engineer or diagnose a malfunctioning marketing pixel
Agency experience ranging from 3-6 years is a major plus
Excellent writing, grammar and communication skills
