As a Part-time Cost Engineer Intern, you will play an essential role within our fast-paced organization supporting our Pre-Construction Management team. You will be expected to deliver results within a deadline-driven environment. The perfect fit for this position is a highly organized self-starter with a great attitude who is willing and able to effectively gather information, create documentation related to bids and projects, and present to team for review and execution.

Responsibilities

Reviewing, reading, interpreting construction plans
Creating bid template documents
Drafting project scopes of work
Interpreting information on bid documents to transfer to leveling documents
Drafting revisions, addressing questions and editing as necessary for contractor bids

Qualifications

Junior or senior in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read construction plans and blueprints
Google Suite experience desired
Strong computer skills
