Our first consumer product, the PhotoRoom app, is already a leader in mobile photo editing: we serve 10M+ users across more than 180 countries monthly, and our app was awarded the Best App of 2021 by Android and named Editor’s Choice by Apple. We recently launched our second product, the API, allowing us to deploy our tech at scale through a b-to-b motion.

We are at an exciting stage of our journey, having successfully raised our Series A and looking to scale to $100M ARR in the next couple of years.

🤓 🤓 We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Community Manager to join our team. With the support of our Community Lead, you will be responsible for nurturing & growing the PhotoRoom community.
💰 €100-300 daily rate* depending on experience
🇪🇺 We are flexible: you can work from anywhere in Europe, come once a month to Paris if possible (fully reimbursed)
🇬🇧 PhotoRoom is an international team, and we work in English.
*We can go higher for outstanding profiles and adapt to the cost of living if it is higher than in Paris.

✨ About the role ✨

    • Assist the Community Lead in building and nurturing a vibrant and engaged community, by proactively identifying and addressing potential issues and opportunities.
    • Develop and implement social media and communication campaigns that align with marketing strategies, with a focus on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, targeting resellers, small businesses, and creators.
    • Create engaging text, image, and video content for social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, that resonates with the target audience and drives engagement and brand awareness.
    • Respond to comments and user queries promptly and assist with community administration and moderation on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, such as welcoming users, engaging in conversations, answering support questions, and approving members.
    • Establish a two-way feedback loop with the community to help with product development and pricing, and track and report on relevant community metrics.
    • Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure brand consistency while liaising with the development team to stay updated on new products and features.
    • Build and maintain relationships with members and influencers, and encourage engagement and user-generated content on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
    • Utilize the PhotoRoom app to create and edit high-quality visual content for social media.

    • Proven experience in community development and launching community initiatives, such as building an online forum, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter, targeting resellers, small businesses, and creators.
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends, and ability to identify and track relevant community metrics.
    • Tech-savvy with excellent communication skills in written and verbal English, and ability to create and edit visual content.
    • Knowledge of e-commerce and online marketplaces, and willingness to experiment and test the impact of specific initiatives.
    • Enjoy working with people and helping others, and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with members and influencers.
    • High energy and enthusiasm for the role, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Creative and outgoing with a positive personality and high attention to detail.
