Job Description

What will you contribute? Tricentis is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Data Security Architect to enable datacentric security strategy and designs into the overarching product portfolio. In this role, you will lead security reviews and enable key decision-making frameworks on data security. You will be an integral part of the Product Security organization and work closely with product manager, product engineers, architects, developers, operations to build highly reliable and secure products. You will report directly to the Head of Product Security.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work as the lead for data security opportunities within Tricentis and its product portfolio.
  • Enhance data security practices as part of the development lifecycle and scale privacy impact assessments.
  • Implement technical data classification controls within Tricentis products and automate components as part of CI/CD pipeline.
  • Coordinate and lead data anonymization practices across data lakes, platform, independent portfolios with encryption, zero trust, etc.
  • Define a framework for security design reviews and represent product security initiatives for datacentric security controls for internal and external facing products.
  • Enhance the secure development lifecycle and automated security testing as part of the CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform threat modeling, design reviews, peer code reviews as part of the secure development lifecycle.
  • You will partner with the product management, engineering, security champions, legal, and ops teams to enhance the information security posture of the platform.
  • Collaborate with Product and Solution architects to lead data security requirements continuously.

Qualifications

  • BA/BSc in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Software development background of 3+ years.
  • Experience with various cloud providers: Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Build pipeline/CI/CD/automation experience
  • Container experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with compliance attestations (e.g., PCI, SOC 2 Type 2, FedRAMP)
  • Experience with privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Soft skills: effective communication (internal, customer, legal counsel), collaboration (internal, external) and effective written skills (white papers, vulnerability specifications etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security certifications, e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CEH
  • Knowledge of security / compliance requirements for industry-standard certifications like ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, PCI DSS.
  • Experience with private and public sector’s focus on software, particularly the types of vulnerabilities, regulatory controls, and security testing associated with them.
  • Active participation in cybersecurity forums/conferences, e.g., DEFCON, Black Hat
