As Director, Network Planning, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will oversee a growing company's network architecture strategy, new product network and system design, integration, and deployment.
You will lead a team of innovative network engineers responsible for planning and implementing network extension and capacity augmentation, comprehensive fiber deployment using state of the art design and technology and the architecture of the company’s XGSPON, IP/Ethernet networks. You will coordinate workloads across the team and oversee on-schedule readiness of network evolution and upgrade. You will also provide direction to the field engineering team for network optimization and capacity management guidelines.
This is an exciting opportunity to truly be creative and own the process end to end. You will regularly present findings and recommendations to senior management regarding the roadmap for network architecture, strategic capacity plans and network design changes to support ongoing and new service world-class fiber network in America!
In this critical role, you will support access, transport, data networks, and voice and data service deployment both from a network and in home experience. You will utilize business intelligence, machine learning and other analytical tools, as needed, to support business operations. You will oversee network strategy and product selection to support aggressive FTTP network build across states. You will lead and manage the new product network, operations and system integration process. Finally, you will drive network element product evaluations, testing, and material selections.
