We are looking for an experienced software development manager that can help us by leading our Infrastructure team.  We have a start-up mentality in a profitable and fast-growing business, and we are looking to pour some gasoline on the fire to achieve our next wave of growth.  You will be responsible for leading a group of back-end Python developers and working with the Head of Technology and Lead Developers to create a technology roadmap for the future of the core of our digital business: Audio Engine.  If you like solving big problems, mentoring others, and want a place where you can make a big impact, then Findaway might be your next home.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of python developers
• Work with the Head of Digital Operations and other business units to define and assign work to development team based on company priority
• Defines and maintains processes to improve our efficiency, quality, and communication
• Mentor and coach developers
• Ensure all code deployed to production has been properly reviewed by a senior developer to meet coding and design standards
• Foster a culture of continuous education and continuous improvement
• Have fun long the way!

• Demonstrated ability to lead a group of developers
• Great communication skills and proven experience having candid conversations
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• 2+ years of experience in a management role
• 2+ years of experience working with and deploying systems to AWS
• 2+ years of experience with Python development
• Understanding of microservices architecture and the bigger picture

Preferences 

• Experience in constrained environments, i.e. SOC, PCI.
