This is a remote role, employees are welcome to work near one of our principal location hubs: Toronto, and Montreal.

Reporting to the Group Product Manager, the Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the product management team in evaluating requirements for new features and enhancements. Working cross-functionally, he/she will support gathering requirements, planning, executing, measuring product initiatives, and owning documentation of evaluation and delivery; helping to ensure that SSENSE delivers a world-class shopping experience to its customers. As a Business Analyst, you will get visibility into the executive team at SSENSE and be exposed to growth opportunities through a blend of on-the-job experience, training, mentorship, and support from the entire Product team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Development (40%)
Provide support for the end-to-end product management and development
Lead requirement gathering and analyse stakeholder pain and passion points
Document problem statements, business opportunity, feature releases and their all rounded impact
Influence the direction of future product features by sharing key learnings and findings
Lead change management for new feature introductions and enhancements with stakeholders
Business Analysis (35%)
Conduct cost-benefit and other financial analysis for potential projects and business cases
Research and drive 360 degree feature & enhancement impact analysis
Provide detailed insights to support product management decisions
Reporting and Dashboarding (25%)
Support the product management team in building reports and dashboards on operational efficiencies
Identify new reporting and dashboarding needs
Liaise with Data Operations team to build dashboards and reports
Develop, format and clearly communicate findings and insights from analysed data and reports
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Master's degree, an asset
A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a business analysis, consultancy, software development, or product management role
Exposure to digital products, software development lifecycle and prior retail or e-commerce experience preferred
Knowledge of Google Analytics, SQL and other analysis tools, an asset
Experience working within an Agile environment, using jira, an asset
