1. Description of Work/Position:

The Network Security Backup Engineer will create scripts to automate tasks on Cisco and CheckPoint firewalls and proxies. A successful candidate will have Ansible development skills and will have successfully automated different types of security devices. This candidate should demonstration knowledge of and prior experience with design an approach to automate security backups across multiple locations and networks.

2. Responsibilities
• Write automation scrips using Ansible.
• Work with various team to create the automation approach to standardize the frequency of backups.
• Implement the automation approach, including documentation of all processes and procedures.
• Validate and manage back-ups and recovery efforts
• Monitor root cause analysis and resolutions
• Monitor databases for proper performance
• Manage security and report incidents
3. Years of Experience
• 5+ years Cisco and CheckPoint experience – CheckPoint certification required or CCNA
4. Language requirements

5. Technical Knowledge required
• Expert in backup/recovery of security appliances.
• Experience with Policy documentations, database migration, performance tuning, and optimization, and setting up and managing network connections
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
6. Technical tools
• Must have Ansible scripting expertise
• Experience with the following: Cisco FirePower and CheckPoint firewalls

• 5+ years Cisco and CheckPoint experience – CheckPoint certification required or CCNA
Ansible experience
