Job Description

  • Establish a communication strategy that reinforces Medable’s voice/brand and produces a cohesive narrative to employees and candidates
  • Work in close partnership with MarComm to ensure employee and candidate experience communications are in alignment with Medable’s public presence, voice, style and brand
  • Support the Executive and HR Teams in delivering messages that reinforce Medable’s programs, initiatives, culture and mission 
  • Take lead on establishing a well-polished and thoughtful presence and strategy for external candidate-facing platforms
  • Take lead on establishing a well-polished and thoughtful strategy for external candidate-facing platforms that drive candidate sourcing traffic for high demand jobs through external campaigns (e.g. Glassdoor, LinkedIn)
  • Develop a robust employee/candidate experience communications strategy, editorial framework, and annual/quarterly comms plans in partnership with HR Leadership
  • On hand to deliver timely and critical internal communications to employees (e.g. crisis management, important company/team milestones) 
  • Develop and curate content that engages employees within Medable's internal employee resource portal and allows employees to easily find the information they need on a wide variety of topics as well as HR driven programs and initiatives 
  • Review, edit, and collaboratively produce content for a wide range of internal communications channels
  • Support Medable’s ‘remote-first’ work environment by maintaining critical departmental resources/information within internal systems to facilitate collaboration, internal knowledge-share, and efficient communication across teams
  • Assist with the development of internal messaging and marketing for Human Resources teams to enhance and reinforce overall culture and morale. Work with HRBP and specialist teams to support operational communications and helping them refine their message to align with employee brand and common voice
  • Manage messaging and communication activities to support all internal organization-wide employee groups and activities (e.g. Diversity & Inclusion (DEI))

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & cross-functional collaborator 
  • Ability to distill disparate sources into a cohesive voice and message 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines 
  • Proficient with Confluence, Google Groups & access rights as well as other internal communication resource tools
  • Self-motivated
  • International experience (preferred)

Experience:

      Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of working experience as a Communications Specialist/Manager
  • Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field
  • Software Skills:  Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Google Suite, Confluence, Google Groups, Google Sites

      Preferred Requirements:

  • 5+ years of working experience as a Communications Specialist/Manager
  • Master’s degree in Communications or a related field
