A bit of background…

We are currently looking for an Investment Programme Analyst to join our Global Strategy and M&A/Corporate Development team based in the UK.

This is a new role with incredible visibility to Experian’s businesses on a global scale.  The Global Strategy and M&A/Corporate Development teams help stretch the boundaries of ambition across Experian. This role is a great way to help support our inorganic and organic investments while kick starting a career path to Corporate Strategy, M&A, Ventures or other exciting assignments.

What you’ll be doing…

You will be responsible for building relationships with the Global Strategy and M&A/Corporate Development teams to ensure efficient and effective processes.  You should be comfortable challenging to keep stakeholders on track with deadlines and more broadly keeping the organisation informed on our deal efforts.

This role is critical as we are seeing an increase in our investment activity globally.

You can expect to be responsible to:

  • Schedule and organise key deal review meetings
  • Maintain and manage reporting of M&A and Venture project pipelines
  • Regular tracking of pipeline using Salesforce and creating monthly reports, whilst developing new and insightful metrics
  • Support a semi-annual review of M&A and Venture strategic priorities
  • Maintain and manage the post investment review process, providing templates and reviewing content for all deals.
  • Streamline document templates and ensure quality of content
  • Maintain master deal calendar and provide visibility to executives
  • Support the deal approval process (distributing documents, following up actions)

Experience in a similar role is advantageous, however candidates from all backgrounds will be considered. We are looking for:


  • Excellent organisation and coordination skills
  • Strong written/presentation skills
  • Keen attention to detail in reports and presentations
  • Ability to understand and synthesize financial information
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, with confidence to keep others on track
  • Comfortable working across different cultures and time zones
  • Proactive nature to make sure all deadlines are met, and activities run smoothly


  • Some experience in a corporate environment - within finance, M&A, Corporate Development/Strategy would be a bonus but is not essential
  • Ability to navigate a broad, global organisation and comfortable working and building relationships at all levels

Tech capability:

  • Salesforce is a heavily utilised tool across the team and so experience using this would be a bonus, but training will be provided.
  • Expert PowerPoint and Excel skills



  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject would be advantageous but is not essential
