We are growing incredibly fast and we’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to drive and build content that will meaningfully engage our prospects and customers at each point in their journey. The Content Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing team to create content each month that drives leads, conversions, subscribers, and overall brand awareness. This position will play a key role in defining Welcome's voice, messaging and create thought-leadership in the events marketplace.

A day in the life of a Content Marketing Manager at Welcome includes:

Leading and building a complete Welcome content strategy across the customer journey, from awareness to advocacy.
Working closely with marketing team members to craft and implement a content plan based on strategic priorities, market trends, product roadmap, customer needs, and competitive insights.
Implementing tools and systems for Welcome content to be an engine of growth.
Drafting, editing, and publishing content assets (including blog posts, ebooks, infographics, videos, customer stories, email campaigns, newsletters, social media posts, sales collateral) with the aim to drive leads, subscribers, educate and awareness of Welcome.
Building and managing a rich social and editorial calendar.
Continuously evolve Welcome's brand voice, tone, and personality, ensuring that copy across channels aligns to this voice.
Implementing SEO best practices, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices
Building email campaigns and nurture sequences as it aligns to Welcome events and other key Welcome highlights
Developing ideas for new content given insights from sales, customer success, and product teams.
Supporting content creation around monthly events: Ideate event topics, help source speakers, write event descriptions and promotional copy to draw in attendees. Repurpose event content in creative ways, through video snippets and recap blog posts.
Relentlessly tracking user data and performance metrics of all content and report on how they achieve marketing goals.
Managing relationships with existing content agencies. Sourcing, onboarding, and managing freelance writers.

Your work will enable multiple teams on Welcome, including the:

Sales team, to close accounts and increase conversions of purchasing our product.
Support team, to reduce inbound emails and website chats by making our platform resources more informative, updated, and accessible.
Customer Success, to surface best practices, use cases, and customer wins to share both internally and externally.
Product, to collaborate on product messaging, feature launches, and user adoption.

The next great Content Marketing Manager at Welcome will have:

4+ years of content marketing experience, preferably in a fast-paced B2B setting
Familiarity and comfort with creating content for virtual platforms and supporting event marketing teams
Ability to learn and adapt to writing in our brand voice
Strong storytelling with the ability to leverage internal and external data and collaborate cross-functionally to identify gaps and opportunities
A growth mindset and has a genuine interest in evolving marketing technology and trends
Team player mentality and willingness to roll up their sleeves, show flexibility, and shift gears quickly
Clear, concise communication with excellent project management skills (a must!)
Startup experience is a plus!
