Job Description

Global EITS Finance team in Costa Rica is seeking a strong Finance Professional to perform a Finance Business Partner role / support for an EITS global business tower(s).  This is a critical role with high exposure to senior levels across EITS finance, procurement, group finance and EITS IT leaders globally.

This position will be a part of the EITS Costa Rica Finance team of approx. 8 FTE.  The position will provide opportunities to work in a dynamic fast paced environment, creating new processes, enhancing and refining existing processes/reporting and providing direct financial management / support to senior IT leaders.  In addition, the role will be responsible for finance business partnering activities including month end close, forecast, variance analysis, monthly business reporting, service cost management, capital management, and yearly activities such as strategic planning.  The person needs to be confident to explain financial results to senior level leaders, presenting in steering committee meetings and being proactive to anticipate analysis/questions.  Strong business insight, influence, and the ability to coordinate and gain alignment across multiple teams is crucial and will make for a challenging and innovative role.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following key duties and responsibilities:

  • Create reporting, forecast and budget analysis for Global EITS.
  • Lead forecast, and budget process for Global EITS.
  • Lead meetings / explanatory conversation with regional and global Tower Leads
  • Develop and present monthly financial reporting to business leaders
  • Manage monthly Close and forecast processes using Hyperion and Oracle applications.
  • Work with business IT leaders on developing / completing SPC business case papers challenging assumptions / supporting with financial modelling to ensure the best deal for Experian is obtained
  • Create and maintain vendor trend reports, headcount files, accrual reports, and capital reports
  • Drive continuous improvements in forecast accuracy, process efficiencies, and system automations
  • Support the design and implementation of Technology Business Management (TBM) strategy for Experian
  • Provide support to internal partners in interrogating and understanding their technology cost, including proactive identification of cost optimization opportunities
  • Provide continuous improvement ideas and execution to existing and new processes
  • Support strategic and annual financial planning processes for EITS services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related Bachelor degree
  • Master’s in business administration, Certified Public Accountant, other related Master degree preferred
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Finance
  • Strong business partnering skills with a focus on business partnering and responsiveness, preferably experience supporting other finance professionals
  • Experience with month end processes and reporting, fixed assets, GL, account reconciliation and P&L analysis/variance explanations
  • Experience running forecast and budget processes.
  • Experience presenting and partnering with Senior Leader levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong ability to work in system details as well as summarize and explain large amounts of information including variances to budget and forecast
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization
