Job Description

The role of the Client Project Manager is to define and manage the entire process of product implementation and expansion projects for Intelerad's customers and partners. Client project managers interact with customers to install, optimize or modify their PACS (picture archiving communication system) or RIS (radiological information system) based on their business results. These projects are built using Intelerad's project methodology that encompasses comprehensive planning, execution and reporting processes, models and tools. Project governance, risk monitoring, product definition and other activities are key elements in the daily reality of an Intelerad client project manager.

What you will do:

  • Manage the project from kickoff to implementation and client acceptance.
  • Oversee the efforts of the required internal specialists / departments.
  • Develop, manage and execute the project plan.
  • Create and update project documentation for both internal and the client’s use.
  • Guide clients through the preparation of their IT infrastructure.
  • Manage communications between the client, Intelerad and other project participants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Computer Science, Engineering or other equivalent industry experience.

  • 3+ years managing technical projects, desirably software implementations, with an eye to managing risk, scope, quality and budget.

  • Experience delivering project results to external clients, desirably in a professional services context (billable).

  • Sufficient knowledge to discuss general hardware (MB/GB/TB, server partitioning, RAIDs, workstations, UPS) and networking (client/server architecture, LANs, bandwidth, VPNs, firewalls) concepts with IT personnel.

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication, including the ability to work with all levels of internal and external organizations in an assertive manner.

Desired:

  • Prior PACS Admin experience highly preferred

  • Strong negotiation, planning, and project reporting skills

  • Ability to deliver according to forecast and both articulate and manage the impact of project work on company revenues

  • PMP or similar accreditation (e.g. PRINCE2) is highly desired

  • Previous industry experience (e.g.: radiology, PACS, RIS, medical imaging equipment, etc.), an asset

  • Experience with Linux operating system(s), an asset
