SEO Specialist/ Content Designer - WFH/Remote Job

We are looking for a full-time content designer with at least 2 years of professional experience with SEO and is able to create come up with easy-to-use and visually engaging designs for both websites and mobile applications and is very passionate about it. The ideal designer is someone with experience working closely with developers and with strict deadlines in an agile work environment.

• To work with the product designers and graphics designers
• Defining the SEO roadmap with the product designers to ensure that everyone understands what needs to be done
• Testing site crawls, the SEO and analysing logs to determine the effectiveness of the SEO and how it can be improved as well as monitor changes in the search engine algorithms
• Continuous research pertinent to understanding how user behaviour is changing
• Ensuring proper planning and execution of link acquisition to both website and mobile application
• Building reports that outline the overall effectiveness of the SEO put into place as well as presenting them to management
• To update and communicate the progress to stakeholders as often as needed
• To attend technical review calls online via MS Teams
• Monitoring IT industry news, certification releases as well as higher education changes to revise any tactics or strategies needed to achieve optimal SEO
• To ensure the changes meet the Google Web Core Vital Standards
• Establishing as well as maintaining a website optimization calendar that helps the teams proactively prepare for new trends and launches
• To find ways to optimize meta-data and on-site page copies that align with our keyword targeting strategy

• Must be fluent in the English language - Important
• At least 2 years of professional work experience dealing in Search Engine Optimization
• Must have some experience being a team leader
• Must have some proven experience with UX writing and product content strategy
• Ability to articulate and explain in detail the reasoning for their content design choices
• Must have experience dealing with website and Apps with 100s of pages on them
• Must have hands on experience using tools like Google Analytics
• Must have a deep understanding of SEO concepts and tactics
• Must have experience using design/prototype software such as Adobe XD, Figma and Invision     
• Must be familiar with web design standards, UX and markup language such as HTML and CSS
• Some experience writing and creating content for social media is a bonus
• Some familiarity dealing with the Google Web Core Vital Standards is a bonus
