We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team and lead the efforts to reimagine our web experience for all our financial services. This hire will be responsible for designing a robust feature set that’s complementary to our mobile native products, working closely with numerous teams across the entire company, from vertical teams like Banking and Investing to horizontal teams like Health, Operating System, and Design Systems.
This role sits within Financial Services, which is a category within the organization that exists to bring financial freedom to all our customers. Our teams help customers from the moment they get paid to the moment they file their taxes, while helping them manage, save, spend, invest, provide, borrow, and learn about money along the way. As a product designer on Financial Services, you will have ample opportunity to help customers improve their financial wellbeing in one or more of these areas.
A passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging experiences
Outstanding UX ability, visual design and product thinking for mobile and web apps
Experience applying research, usability tests, and metrics to inform design decisions
Comfort with an iterative design process that includes accepting and acting on feedback
Experience collaborating across disciplines to lead or support a new idea or product to launch
Proven skills in presenting work, workshopping concepts, and evangelizing new ideas
Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design
Competence in relevant design and prototyping tools
Strong collaboration and self-management skills
Experience leading other designers, providing feedback and directing work
Previous work experience in a consumer-focused tech organization
Familiarity with creating interactive prototypes
