Job Description

We’re hiring a Freelance Video/Audio (TV/Radio) Media Buyer to help manage the day-to-day responsibilities for our Local investment buying accounts. The job involves negotiation and communication with media sales reps, managing media schedules, budget oversight, reconciliation, as well as administrative tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management and stewardship of local buys and OTT schedules
  • Secure added value and sponsorship
  • Monitor and maintain schedules to ensure delivery to client goals and estimates
  • Assist Supervisors and Directors across accounts on budget allocation and goals
  • Provide tracking reports and post-buy delivery analyses
  • Handle requests for various clients, including data collection for information regarding television ratings/programming and industry/ marketplace/technology trends
  • Handle reconciliation and billing deadlines 

Qualifications:

  • Ideal is 3-5+ years of TV/Radio Media Buying role
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • MediaOcean/SQAD or FreeWheel knowledge a plus
  • Highly organized and proactive individual capable of juggling and multitasking
  • Capable of meeting deadlines
  • Team oriented, great attitude
