Job Description

DOE engineer have the opportunity to work with internal groups, as well as with customers around the world. We directly contribute to the company’s success by driving product development and timely launch by giving feedback to product performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide data interpretation of Volume Forecast for DOE Physical builds and translate into Back End build and capacity plan,
  • Coordinate closely with other support groups internally and externally to properly discuss build schedule, tool allocation, prioritization and capacity plan.
  • Provide timely analysis of physical data using the standard templates, tools and analysis methodology.
  • Facilitate DOE reports to include entire physical build and tool status.
  • Facilitate Cycle time reports and generate actions to meet the target CT.
  • Communicate to MSL for the  new physical recipe requirements, review recipe qualifications and regulate deployment in all DOE builds..
  • Develop and implement data integrity guidelines and/or related methodology aimed to streamline DOE physical process flow.
  • Complies at all times with the Environment, Health and Safety, Manufacturing Quality Standards, and Rules and Regulations of the site.
  • Perform other activities as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in magnetic recording and device metrology.

SKILLS:

  • Experience in data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, Excel or R.
  • Basic understanding of programming language preferably C, C++, Python or JSL.
  • Excellent English written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand design of experiments and develop appropriate characterization plan.
  • Willingness to adapt to any changes as part of improvement opportunities.
