Job Description

MindPoint Group is seeking an experienced Resource Manager to help establish and lead a new people-focused role and function within the company. This is an exciting opportunity to support our SOC team at one of our largest clients. This position is critical to the continued growth of the client’s operational capabilities, and you will join an established and experienced group that is motivated to provide excellent services in defending federal infrastructure.

  • Support Department Directors and PMs to fully understand and help them meet their current and future resource needs
  • Accurately forecast future resource demands including numbers, types, levels, and skillsets needed to ensure sustainable growth
  • Review position advertisements prior to posting, screen CVs, coordinate interview teams, participate in interviewing candidates, and ensure all onboarding documentation is collected and recorded/filed.
  • Develop and oversee the contract recruitment process
  • Ensure that effective tools and processes are in place to deliver effective capacity planning and tracking
  • Manage resource pool of candidates in resource management tools
  • Recommend and implement innovative solutions to staffing short term projects and surge events
  • Recommend and implement resource management metrics such as retention, job satisfaction, and utilization
  • Establish and document processes and procedures related to resource management
  • Coordinate onboarding activities with resource and government client
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and flexibly adapt to changing conditions
  • Must possess a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative requiring minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • Top Secret clearance required
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role such as sourcing, recruitment, and/or project management background
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Business or a related field is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication and problem-solving skills are required
  • Experience in Federal environments is preferred
  • Experience managing Cybersecurity resources is strongly preferred, but closely related IT fields such as Cloud, Networking, Data Analytics, and Software will be considered
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Confluence, and resource management tools and techniques is required
