Your mission

We are looking for a business-minded engineer who wants to take on the challenge of improving performance and security of our database structures, GraphQL server and React applications.

You will work closely with a small team to build solutions that enable exponential growth.

Your challenge is not to reinvent the wheel - but to bring the business forward and automate processes with a pragmatic attitude.

• Implement the business critical backend and frontend interfaces for both our customers and suppliers 
• Scale our platform whilst promoting pragmatic technical and business initiatives that improve productivity, performance and quality 
• Work across all user journeys
• Help to prioritize and adjust the product backlog according to strategic product value

What we are looking for in you

• A passion to build a great product that supports the business needs 
• An extensive track record (min 2 years) as a software developer
• Experience in working in a growing environment  
• Experience in agile software development methodologies
• A solid grasp of functional and object-oriented programming, automated software testing, databases, software development principles and testing methodologies
• Enthusiasm for excellence and a strong “hands-on” attitude
• Our company language is English, but German is a plus

• Familiarity with marketplaces
• A passion for amazing food and great service 
• Experience with Salesforce
