This is a unique and exciting leadership opportunity for a sales professional to become part of an exciting journey, with the possibility to impact the growth and development of a globally growing Enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, and work with next-generation technology. Due to rapid growth, we are looking to grow the Pitcher team with the addition of a Global VP of Sales, to be based in North America, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, or Spain. 

We are looking for a VP-level sales executive to shape our sales organization and scale revenue to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting the sales strategy and managing a team lead by 4 Regional Sales Directors (NA, LatAm, EMEA, APAC). This role will be critical in defining which new markets to enter and for executing the sales and growth strategy. This role will be reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer, whose organization includes also Go-To-Market (GTM), Marketing, Alliances and Service Delivery.

Job Description

  • Drive ARR generation and enable team to exceed on quota expectations in collaboration with Sales Operations and Sales Enablement
  • Execute and enhance the sales strategy to develop the business in accordance with overall company goals
  • Monitor market dynamics and drive response plans to defend and expand market leader position
  • Part of the senior management team, own and represent the sales organisation in leadership meetings including reporting, forecasting and budget planning
  • Manage existing team and develop team expansion plan in line with overall company objectives
  • Develop sales training and on-boarding programs in collaboration with the internal Commercial Enablement Consultant and Learning & Development Officer
  • Define global compensation plan for the different regions
  • Represent senior management from sales perspective to support the sales team close key new deals and/or retain and develop key customer relationships
  • Work collaboratively across teams - including Service Delivery, Product and Marketing to drive sales strategy execution
  • Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives
  • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
  • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally      

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant enterprise SaaS software sales experience, 5+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Experience in Enterprise Sales within the SaaS industry
  • Experience in leading global teams including cultural, business, and strategic specificities from a team and customer / market perspective
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coach and develop sales teams globally
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
  • Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, other languages are a plus
