The Gig 

This is your chance to join a team of forward-thinking, change-making individuals transforming healthcare experiences. Operating at the intersection of two fast-growing industries – health and tech – you’ll play an active role in shaping the future of healthcare in Australia.

The main purpose of this position is to build, maintain and support the HealthEngine iOS and Android mobile applications as part of the larger development team.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a product team to deliver high-quality and high-performing experiences to hundreds of thousands of users
• Collaborate with other developers and designers to build innovative and delight-filled solutions
• Become an awesome mobile developer!
• Our team members are expected to work with both iOS and Android, but if you have strong knowledge of just one of them, it is fine as long as you are eager to learn the other

About You

We understand that you are likely starting out in your career, or your new career, and we will ensure that you are paired with a mentor to guide you along this journey. You might be a new uni grad, or someone who is just passionate about mobile development and has a bunch of apps to show off. 

You’ll bring your passion, energy, and willingness to learn and we will bring the experience to help show you the industry leading ways to get your career going in the right direction.

Experience you'll bring:

• Computer Science / Software Engineering degree or;
• Personal experience as a mobile app developer, developing your own native apps.
• Is self-driven, curious, well organised and displays initiative
• Having developed and published an iOS or Android app on to the App Store or Google Play is a plus
