Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) Integration Specialist for a remote full-time/permanent position. In this direct-hire role, you will be an important member of a growing engineering team, working to develop new products for company ventures. This role can be located anywhere in the U.S. (100% remote) and will be joining a rapidly growing organization where you can be an integral member of the teams that determine products and tech strategy.
The responsibilities for this role are as follows:
- Be the go-to person for platform integrations, furthering our technology strategy by architecting and building our interfaces with external partners, through both hands-on work and assisting our development teams through implementation
- Collaborate across the company to ensure our integration implementations are robust, high-performing, and able to keep up with a rapid pace of change
- Take a proactive stance in reducing code complexity and repetition by identifying and implementing common functionality between dozens of types of integrations
- Share responsibility for understanding and translating large, complex data models
- Have a hands-on role within a development team, designing and developing foundational technology for new workforce automation products
- Anticipate and prevent issues of security, scalability, or quality in our development
- Maintain a relentless focus on code quality through automation, testing, code reviews, and skill building within the team
Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of enterprise software development
- Built and maintained a platform that supported 20+ external integrations
- Have practical experience with large, complex data models, data translation, and transfer protocols
- Extensive experience with data-heavy software solutions, implemented with C#, SQL, and NoSQL repositories
- Experience mentoring developers and building teams
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical/scientific field or equivalent experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Nice to have…
- Experience with the Financial industry, particularly the commonly used data standards
- Demonstrated ability to exceed goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
- Successful track record working with remote team members
- Familiarity with container management using Kubernetes
