Publicis Media’s Central Activation team supports PM agency accounts by executing media campaigns via a global offshore support network to meet clients’ performance goals across a variety of platforms. The Client Support team within Central Activation works hand-in-hand with the agency partners and agency account teams to ensure all account requirements from the global offshore team, including workflows and resource allocation, are executed.

Job Description

The Associate Director, Performance Media Activation will cultivate relationships with agency partners to uncover business needs, find growth opportunities, and consult on the development of account support solutions.

They will be responsible for leading account-specific work across different Publicis agencies, with the focus on activation strategy, and solve general operational problems across channels maximizing the results of each engagement.

The ideal candidate should have a client-facing background in at least one of the performance media channels (Search, Commerce or Social) and a strong customer service and organizational skillset and be able to learn about other channels from an account management perspective.

Responsibilities:

·         Build strong relationships with agency teams, platform partners and global offshore teams

·         Identify and communicate account needs, concerns or opportunities with agency partners and global offshore leads

·         Provide campaign recommendations and tactical guidance to achieve client objectives

·         Oversee and assist with campaign activations during the course of an engagement, managing aspects of the execution and timely project delivery, including RFP responses and campaign launches

·         Help onboard and support our global delivery network team members

·         Act as a cross-functional SME to provide an activation perspective to non-media teams

·         Develop client deliverables, product collateral and process documentation

·         Lead presentations to the agency teams and clients and act as a main point of contact for activation needs

Qualifications

·         5+ years of experience in campaign management, account management or operations within an agency or media company, including 2+ years of client-facing responsibilities

·         Have a strong understanding of performance media, marketplace nuances and different platforms (SA360, Bing, Amazon, Facebook, Skai, etc.)

·         Proven digital media thought leadership with ability to tie new offerings to business objectives

·         Proven ability to build and execute tactical media plans from RFPs through to campaign execution to align with client KPIs

·         Ability and willingness to support and lean in across multiple media channels

·         High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

·         High attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently

·         Direct report management experience is a plus

·         Fluency in Spanish is a plus
