Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support our Sustainability team’s growth by providing operational project support. The role will be pivotal in helping the team deliver efficiently and at pace by helping coordinate activities. The roles will be a mixture of support on clients’ projects and internal team coordination of our operational activities and planning.

Accountabilities (Deliverables)-

  • Coordinate and support for the team’s operational management and its activities across our Balanced Scorecard (People, Process, Operation and Financial (BD)) to achieve smooth operational performance
  • Coordination and support team tasks and activities on client-facing projects
  • Develop and maintain tools and processes to ensure our team runs efficiently

Responsibilities (Duties)

  • Coordination and support for
  • Project activities on client projects such as data collation for reporting, organisation of events and coordination of internal processes such as job set-up.
  • Business development activities including support for planning of bid work, internal communications, maintaining our intranet pages and a repository of key bid documents such as team’s CVs, capability statements, bid responses and brochures
  • Operational tasks such as completion of mandatory training, performance reviews, team meetings and events as well as responsibility for the team’s induction pack and supporting managers with onboarding tasks
  • Monthly financial processes in line with our month-end timeline for tasks such as invoicing, forecasting and variance reporting
  • Team enquiries support from other parts of our business. Keeping a record of these enquiries and distributing to the right team member for answering

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Business development experience, in the context of identifying and tracking opportunities with existing as well as new clients
  • Experience, or good understanding, of team’s operation across the balanced scorecard of People, Operation, Process and Finance
  • Positive and dynamic attitude to work, being flexible and agile in prioritising and allocating work
  • Ability to build strong, professional team and stakeholder relationships and proactively identifying and resolving issues
  • Excellent communication including writing skills

Desirable:

  • Competent knowledge of all standard Office packages – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint but advanced Excel knowledge is desirable.
  • Education and professional experience relating to team operations management and project coordination desirable
  • Maintaining and developing personal competence to meet the demands of both the business and Clients.
  • Experience of working in Sustainability or Real Estate, Natural Resources and/or Infrastructure sectors desirable
  • Confident leading and working alone or as part of a team, with ability to adapt as required
  • High degree of self-management and initiative
  • Attention to detail in service delivery, communications and ways of working with others
