JOB OVERVIEW

A Customer Service Associate is responsible for ensuring Eataly.com visitors have a positive experience by providing excellent customer service and assistance. The Customer Service Associate is the main point of contact for Eataly.com related inquiries that arise during the online shopping, ordering, and delivery process.

Reports to the Customer Service Manager.

This role is fully remote and is seasonal starting in September/October and ending in January.

  • Deals with customers via email and responds to customer inquiries about online offerings promptly
  • Responds courteously to customer inquiries regarding availability and usage of products, our range of services, restaurant offerings, school classes, recipe help and location of products
  • Handles and resolves customer complaints and general feedback by obtaining and evaluating all relevant data, and ensures that information reaches the pertinent manager/department for proper action if the guest needs further help
  • Collaborates with managers to remain up to date about products, restaurants and events and communicates related information via e-mail on a daily basis
  • Maintains and manages relationships with outside partners as needed
  • Maintains a documented electronic filing system of all related documents and past history including guest incidents, complaints and follow-ups
  • Adheres to all company and department procedures, policies, expectations and quality standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
