Job Description

In this role, you work for our dynamic Asia, Middle-East and Africa (AMEA) Team and collaborate closely with commercial, marketing, medical functions as well as our distributors in the region. We expect you to be an exceptional colleague who will go that extra mile for patient care and help resolve urgent and time-critical issues. You will be reporting remotely to the AMEA Client Services and Genomics Lead based in EU timezone.

Your responsibilities will include:

1.       Assisting commercial teams and physicians with technical questions related to the Guardant’s portfolio of tests

2.       Assisting in planning, organizing, and implementing physician education events; including speaking at these events once trained

3.       Send/re-send patient reports as requested by the customers and have post-test discussion with physicians regarding the reports, if needed.

4.       Direct enquiries internally to the appropriate departments (e.g. medical, commercial, marketing, etc.)

5.       Receiving and responding to all types of communication: phone, email and web inquiries from channel partners, customers (physician offices, laboratories, and hospitals) and patients.

6.       Keeping precise and clear documentation of all communications and follow up activities

7.       Follow up with channel partners and other related stakeholders to obtain missing information required to complete the order entry process

8.       Closely liaising with our US team to track patient sample status and help resolve queries related to the test ordered.

9.       Communicate professionally and effectively with all individuals, including external customers and internal Guardant Health team members with primary focus on our international business

10.   Assist with other duties as assigned based on Company needs

Qualifications

1.       Master’s degree or equivalent in Biotechnology/ Genetics. Experience in somatic oncology will be preferred.

2.       Minimum 2-years’ experience working in a client/patient-facing, customer service role with a “white glove service” mentality

3.       Experience of working with a healthcare/genomics company preferred.

4.       You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and bring a high level of computer proficiency.

5.       You’re a team player who is known for the ability and willingness to collaborate with a team comprised of internal employees, contractors, and managers

6.       You are able to multitask and take on various projects, working with self-discipline, good judgment, and independence in a dynamic office setting

7.       Flexibility with respect to working hours based on operational needs

8.       Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English

9.       Problem-solving attitude and exercise critical thinking;

10.   Availability to travel 2-3 times per year for trainings
