Senior Associate, Software Engineering

• Design, code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk.
• Participate in application architecture functions, and recommend solutions including estimating and defining timetables, cost, and project tasks.
• Review, analyze, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
• Design basic and detailed program specifications while ensuring that expected. application performance levels are achieved by managing interfaces, service levels, standards, quality, and configurations.
• Guide technical staff and business partners to investigate, review, and solve complex multidisciplinary business problems.
• Monitor operating efficiency and organizational needs of existing application systems and identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of developed projects and recommend technical solutions.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the business needs driving the projects.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and expertise, including:

• 6+ years of Application Development Experience.
• Strong technical knowledge with 5+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET/.NET Core framework.
• 6+ years of object-oriented design skills and familiarity with advanced design patterns and practices.
• 6+ years of SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases.
• Working knowledge with JavaScript frameworks like Angular / React / Next.js.
• Working knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, Azure preferred. 
• Hands-on Agile practitioner.
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
• Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in large, collaborative, and geographically distributed teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Develop new skills outside of your comfort zone.
• Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively.
