Job Description

  • Businesses development:
    • Build and promote our international referral network (T&E lawyers, RIAs, CPAs) in major financial centers (New York, Miami, Los Angeles; London, Zurich, Hong Kong)
    • Attend and network at financial, legal and estate planning industry events.
  • Trust Operations:
    • Coordinate investment and distribution activities – interact with families and their trusted advisors to implement investment strategies and manage cash flow
    • Assist with new account on-boarding and set-up.
    • Coordinate all facets of trust administration -- cash management, tax planning and investment policy implementation. 
  • Practice Improvement --participate in internal & external training programs to understand, and improve upon, the unique elements of our directed trust business. 
    • Coordinate directions from investment / discretionary distribution advisors.
    • Oversee compliance and tax filing procedures

Coordinate new investment set-up / asset additions

Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial attitude with good communication skills and a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality;
  • 3+ years’ experience in a financial institution, accounting firm, or management consulting firm;
  • Ability to grasp the broad range of trust administration and the operational / compliance requirements of a directed trust company;
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve problems, and make progress under limited direction.
  • Client relationship management experience;
  • Management experience with direct reports or junior team members a plus;

Additional Information

CTC is looking to expand its team by adding a Vice President, Trust Officer in its Bedford, New Hampshire office.  Because of the nature of our business, the role will encompass aspects of business development, operations, and client management.   The position offers significant growth potential, including becoming a member of the company’s senior leadership team.
