Job Description

The Compensation Solutions Engineer will work primarily with our US prospective customers to provide technical support and solutions to sales team and customers prior to the sale. You will be a trusted advisor and problem solver helping the prospective customer decide if one of our products is the right solution.  

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our sales teams to evaluate opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling demonstrations of the Payscale product suite to wide variety of audiences.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of complex aspects of products and systems and may present and demonstrate virtually and/or at client site. 
  • Analyze customer needs and requirements and illustrate how company solutions can provide value and support their organization. 
  • Answer client questions on product functionality, integration, and usage and solve pre-sales support problems. 
  • Provide technical consultation and knowledge transfer with sales staff, trainers, product support. 
  • Provide feedback to development and other groups as needed. 
  • Work in partnership with sales team to strategize sales approaches and ensure attainment of sales quotas.
  • Trade Show representation and demonstrations.
  • Help to complete RFPs and Security documents during the sales process.
  • Assist in training of new and existing sales and customer success resources.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Compensation Management
  • Minimum 3 years in pre-sales or customer facing roles
  • Experience responding to RFPs

Additional Information

In the spirit of pay transparency, we’re excited to share the projected annual "on target earnings" for this role are $137,500 - ($110,000 base + 27,500 variable). If you’re hired at Payscale, your final compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
